The Instructor Reserve represents our most disciplined expression of Howell Mountain fruit.

Sourced exclusively from select vineyard blocks at elevation, this 2022 Reserve captures the density and precision that define the mountain. Aromas of blackberry compote, plum skin, and crushed rock unfold with subtle notes of tobacco leaf and fine French oak.

On the palate, the wine is structured and seamless. Concentrated dark fruit is framed by polished yet assertive tannins — a hallmark of Howell Mountain’s volcanic soils.

Layers of dark chocolate, anise, and cedar emerge as the wine evolves in the glass.

Extended barrel aging enhances texture while preserving balance and tension.

The finish is long, focused, and unmistakably mountain-driven.

Built for patience, this Reserve will reward cellaring from 2027 through 2042.

This is Howell Mountain at its most refined.
