Grown entirely on Howell Mountain, the 2022 Pioneer reflects the power and clarity that only elevation can deliver.

At over 1,400 feet, cooler temperatures and volcanic soils shape a Cabernet of structure and depth. Aromas of blackcurrant, mountain blackberry, and crushed violet rise from the glass, layered with graphite and subtle cedar.

The palate is firm yet composed — dark cherry and cassis wrapped in fine, mountain-driven tannins. Hints of cocoa, iron, and toasted spice add dimension without excess.

The finish is long, mineral, and quietly commanding.

Howell Mountain Cabernets are known for longevity, and Pioneer is built accordingly — expressive now with proper decanting, and capable of aging gracefully for 12–15 years.
